He is Here to Break the Yoke...

There is a song that our choir sings that is simply named, God is here. The lyrics are as follows:

There is a sweet anointing in the sanctuary
There is a stillness in the atmosphere
O come, lay down the burdens you have carried
For in the sanctuary God is here.

He is here, God is here
To break the yoke and lift the heavy burden
He is here, God is here
To heal the hopeless heart and bless the broken.

O come, lay down the burdens you have carried
For in the sanctuary God is here!

Be encouraged today. The Comforter has come! He is here to break the yoke of bondage off of your neck. Take some time today to lay down those heavy burdens you are carrying. God is here! If you keep your faith anchored in what Christ has done, your burdens will be lifted. It's a promise!

If you don't know how to ask, go somewhere that you can get your mind focused on the Lord. Start to praise Him. Ask Him for everything that He has for you. Open your mouth. Just give thanks for what He's done in your life. The Holy Spirit of God will begin to work in your life. This is God's answer to stress and anxiety:

"For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear." Isa 28:11-12

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matt. 11:28-30

The answer to your problem is found only in the Cross of Christ. Though we sometimes think that our performance is the key to victory over a situation, "our righteousness is as filthy rags." God's economy operates on faith. Take your heavy burden to the Lord and leave it there...
