Experience

In the past, I have wondered, "Why do I believe what I believe?"

Why should we step back and examine what we DO believe? Is your belief based on an influential person's ideas, or are they really your own?

Looking at it with this perspective, my belief comes down to one thing......an experience. I can tell you what Jesus means to me, but I can't experience Jesus for you. It goes back to the old addage that, "You can stand in a garage, but that doesn't make you a car."

I challenge you today to seek an experience with God. I'm not talking about something worked up, but something you are seeking the heart of God for. What do you need in YOUR life? He's a big God. ASK...
